We keep your address until you unsubscribe; if you do not open our emails for six months, we remove you.

website visits, without cookies

This site uses no cookies, advertising trackers or Google Analytics. To count visits we record the page, the country (from the network, not your device) and the site you came from, if any. To estimate how many different people visited, we also record a daily code made by scrambling your IP address and browser type with the date: it changes every day, cannot be turned back into your IP address, and we do not store the IP address itself. Cloudflare, our host, handles your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site. Fonts are served from our own site, not from third parties. We treat every visitor the same whether or not the browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

who else handles the data

Service providers that work on our behalf and only for that: Buttondown (newsletter), Cloudflare (hosting and visit counting) and Google (email). When the shop opens, the payment provider will handle your card details (we never see them) and our print partner will receive the name and address needed to ship your order; this page will name them before the shop opens. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, delete or export the information we hold about you, or object to its use: write to hello@madebypolaris.com with the subject "Privacy request". We answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
